Last Friday, many of the women of World Tailors gathered for a delicious pot-luck luncheon and celebration of a very successful fall sales season. Looking back, it was a whirlwind time. We started off with a speaking engagement at the Thorndale Library in October, and then things really went on a roll in November and December. Lori Cahill hosted our first ever home party, which was a great success. Guests learned about World Tailors, munched on delicious treats and had the opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping. Thank you Lori! Other sales events included Green Christmas at Talbot Street Church, Old World Christmas Market at Bellamere, All Things Unique Craft Show in Strathroy, and Spirit of Christmas at Nairn Mennonite Church. We were thankful to have been invited once again to University Hospital, and had a great sales day there. Our friends at Remark Fresh Market were extremely generous, inviting us to set up a table in their store on several days in November and December. Finally, our North Park friends were once again extremely kind and generous during our sales on two Sundays in December. We are so blessed by the wonderful support of so many people in our community. Thanks to them we had our most successful season ever, almost selling out of our products completely!
Now is a time to regroup, build up inventory, and prepare for the upcoming spring sale season. It will be here before we know it, so check back regularly in the Coming Events section, where we will be posting dates and locations.
